In Lublin, on August 11, residents of several districts of the city were evacuated for the duration of the deactivation of a bomb from the Second World War. The bomb did not explode and lay on the territory of the Polish city for decades.

The bomb was found on Thursday, August 10, on the street. Vronsky during the construction of a new residential complex. In order to safely neutralize the find, about 14 thousand people had to leave their homes – residents of the western parts of the Bronovice and Kosminek regions.
The evacuation was given four hours – from 7.00 to 11.00. Before leaving home, people were asked to take documents and medicines with them, turn off gas, water and electricity, and close windows. People were taken by bus to the largest stadium in Lublin, and people with disabilities or those in need of care were offered a place in a separate institution.

After 11:30 a.m., a certain area was completely closed to vehicular traffic and public transport. Next, the sappers had to take up the work. It will take several hours to defuse the bomb.
