In Ukraine, due to bad weather and shelling by Russian aggressors, 530 settlements remain without electricity. This was announced by the Ministry of Energy on Friday, August 11.
So, as a result of bad weather in Sumy, Dnepropetrovsk, Poltava and Kirovograd regions, 127 settlements were de-energized.
“Sumy region and Poltava region suffered the most, where 66 and 37 settlements, respectively, remain without electricity. Restoration is ongoing,” the report said.
In the Donetsk region, as a result of shelling, the linear production department of the main gas pipelines, the gas distribution station and the administrative building that has not been in operation since last year were damaged.
In the Kherson region, due to increased shelling, 48 settlements remain de-energized. Over the past day, power engineers have restored electricity to 8 settlements that were previously without electricity due to the fighting.
In addition, 355 settlements in Donetsk, Kharkiv, Zaporozhye, Lugansk, Sumy and Chernihiv regions were de-energized due to shelling.
It will be remembered that yesterday in two regions new power outages were recorded due to shelling – almost 180 communities.
