Chernihiv region authorities banned the scrapping of damaged military equipment. This was reported by the Chernihiv Regional State Administration on Thursday, March 31.
“On the territory of the Chernihiv region, it is prohibited to collect, take and conduct operations using scrap metal resulting from the destruction or damage of any military equipment and its elements,” the message said.
It is indicated that such order No. 121 was released on March 30 by the head of the region’s military administration, Vyacheslav Chaus.
“This is necessary for better documentation of the aggression and crimes of Russian troops,” the Regional State Administration explained.
Recall that the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed more than 4 thousand units of military equipment of the Russian occupiers. In his speech, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal stressed that it is more than just serving in some troops in Europe and the world.
