The head of state said that he had, although closed, but productive negotiations with the military leadership of Great Britain.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Thursday, August 10, announced in a video message on his Facebook page about a “productive conversation” with British representatives about defense support for Ukrainian forces. However, the head of state did not provide any details.
He emphasized that Ukraine is working on preparing more defense packages for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and protection systems for the whole country. In particular, we are talking about air defense systems.
“I also talked today with representatives of the military leadership of Great Britain – a closed conversation. But a productive conversation,” the president said.
Earlier, Volodymyr Zelensky said Ukraine needed more air defense systems, as well as modern fighter jets, to protect civilians from Russian missiles.
