Enemy attacks are held back near Avdiivka and Marinka. At the same time, in the Avdiivka direction, the enemy uses aviation and artillery, which work very closely on the positions of the Ukrainian defenders. And in the Shakhtyorsky direction, the invaders unsuccessfully tried to restore the lost position in the Staromayorsky district. In total, about 25 clashes took place during the day. This is stated in the evening summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for August 10.
In the meantime, Air Force aviation today delivered 10 strikes on areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, and two strikes on the enemy’s anti-aircraft missile system.
Rocket troops and artillery on Thursday hit four artillery weapons in firing positions, a concentration area for personnel, weapons and military equipment, an electronic warfare station and a communications center for Russians.
Recall that the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that the Russian invaders chose the Kupyansk direction as the main one for their offensive, creating an offensive grouping consisting of eight Storm-Z assault squads. Intense fighting is now going on there – some positions change hands several times.
