Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, announced this in an interview with Ukrayinska Pravda.
After the first and last meeting between Vladimir Alexandrovich and Putin, it became clear to us that the issue of war with the Russian Federation is a matter of time. And in order to prepare for the war, we had to do a lot of homework … Was it necessary to do this before? Well, you know, when the Lord gives a person a chance to occupy a particular position, he begins to use it as he sees fit. And President Zelensky is the first person who began to break the schemes that were in previous times. Issues of information security, smuggling, the clan-oligarchic system are all challenges for the state. And here it was necessary to put things in order, – said Danilov.
Recall, the National Security and Defense Council previously closed the TV channels of Putin’s godfather Viktor Medvedchuk, imposed sanctions on smugglers and developed a bill on oligarchs.
