This is reported by the publication “Military” with reference to the Telegram channel of one of the Russian military.
It is noted that, according to the kafir, a group of Russian military in one of the settlements on the left bank of the Dnieper stopped communicating. To check the situation, a group of 16 military men headed by Major Tomov, who served as commander of the 1822 battalion, went to the location of the unit.
Subsequently, it became known that Tomov, along with a group, was ambushed and, probably, captured.
Exactly how many Russian soldiers were killed or captured is not known, however, according to a Russian blogger, 25 people disappeared, including three officers. It is also alleged that the Ukrainian military managed to seize weapons, ammunition, radio stations, personal mobile phones of the occupiers and obtain “valuable information.”
It is also alleged that Ukrainian saboteurs tried to ambush a new group of Russian military personnel through the prisoners’ communications.
It is noted that the kafir complains that the activities of the Russian group in the Dnieper region are now associated with a high risk, and the territory has long been not under full control of Russia. Another reason for the group to fall into an ambush, he calls the poor quality of the Russian Azart radio stations, which do not work well in the field.
