The German authorities, not in words, but in deeds, are doing everything possible to strengthen the Ukrainian air defense system.
Germany has given another package of military aid to Ukraine, which includes two launchers of Patriot air defense systems. This was announced by the German government on Wednesday, August 9.
The new package also includes:
-
10 tracked all-terrain vehicles Bandvagn 206;
-
6525 smoke shells of 155 mm caliber;
-
materials for disposal of explosives;
-
5 border guard vehicles;
-
4 VECTOR reconnaissance drones;
-
1163 binoculars;
-
6 tractors 8×8 HX81 and 5 semi-trailers;
-
2 loading and unloading machines 8×6;
-
100 MG5 machine guns;
-
40 thousand first aid kits;
-
20 thousand goggles.
Remember, on July 11, Germany confirmed that it will give Ukraine a new aid package worth about 700 million euros, which includes two Patriot air defense installations and several armored vehicles.
And in June, it was reported that Germany would “immediately” transfer 64 missiles for Patriot anti-aircraft systems to Ukraine.
