The United States of America will announce a new military aid package for Ukraine in the coming days to help fight Russian aggression. This was announced on Tuesday, May 31, by U.S. State Department spokesman Ned Price.
“We must further strengthen Ukraine’s ability to defend itself in the face of the Kremlin’s brutal aggression, and we will have more (what to say – ed.) In this matter in the coming days,” said the representative of foreign ministry.
He did not disclose details of the content of the new help.
The State Department spokesman also stressed that the US Presidential Administration has approximately $ 40 billion at its disposal, most of which is intended for defense support of Ukrainian partners.
According to him, since the beginning of Russia’s large-scale armed aggression, the United States has provided Ukraine approximately $ 3.8 billion in defense support, and the new package greatly increases these opportunities.
The State Department spokesman concluded that the Ukrainians were fighting the superior forces, and they would have everything they needed to effectively defend themselves in the face of Russian aggression.
It will be recalled that the administration of US President Joe Biden intends to provide Ukraine with a guided multiple launch rocket system with missiles with a range of approximately 65 kilometers.
