Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced two combat drones were shot down on approach to the Russian capital. They were allegedly shot by air defense. On Wednesday, August 9, he wrote on Telegram.
Sobyanin said the drones were shot down near Domodedovo and the Minsk highway.
“There was an attempt to fly over the city by two combat drones. Both were shot down by air defense. One in the area of Domodedovo, the second in the area of Minskoye Highway. So far, there is no information about the victims of the downing of the lips. Emergency services are working in the area,” he wrote.
Moscow residents on local Telegram channels reported hearing loud noises around 3.00.
Also, a video was published on the network, allegedly taken during the drone attack in Moscow.
Recall that yesterday the mayor of Moscow announced “an attempt to destroy the UAV.”
