According to media reports, we are talking about the current parliamentarian from the presidential faction “Servant of the People” Anatoly Gunko. For a monetary reward, the people’s deputy promised the businessman to provide for the cultivation of state land plots of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine.
The law enforcers documented the criminal activities of the people’s deputy and exposed him “hot” when he received the first part of the illegal benefit in the amount of 85 thousand dollars. United States, the SBU said.
As part of the criminal proceedings initiated under Part 4 of Art. 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (acceptance of an offer, promise or receipt of an unlawful benefit by an official), the issue of notification of suspicion to a people’s deputy and his two accomplices is resolved.
An investigation is ongoing to establish all the circumstances of the crime and bring the perpetrators to justice.
