France is creating a special group to investigate the circumstances of the death of journalist Frederic Leclerc-Imhoff in the Lugansk region. French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna said this during her visit to Kyiv, the BFM TV channel reported the other day.
According to him, the group that will investigate the circumstances of the journalist’s death will be led by law enforcement officials of Ukraine. He also spoke to the press and urged to give due publicity the death of a member of the media community.
On the eve it was learned that during the evacuation from the Luhansk region, a car was fired upon, driving to pick up people. As a result, a French journalist, an employee of the BFM television channel, Frederic Leclerc-Imhoff died.
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky expressed condolences on the death of a French journalist. Frédéric Leclerc-Imhoff became the 32nd media worker to die since Russia’s all-out war against Ukraine began.
