The German chancellor said that he did not expect rapid changes on the front every day, but that Ukrainian forces were deliberately preparing operations.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine show clear and organized actions in the war against the Russian invaders. This was said by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz at a press conference with the Prime Minister of Romania in Berlin, reports CNN.
“The Armed Forces of Ukraine are acting very clearly and orderly,” he said.
He added that he did not expect rapid changes on the front every day, but Ukrainian forces were deliberately preparing operations.
According to Scholz, Germany and many other countries are ready to provide Ukraine with long-term support, “… one, two, three and, if necessary, more years, because we do not know how long the military conflict,” Scholz explained.
He reiterated that while Ukraine is at war, it cannot become a NATO member, adding that the criteria for NATO membership is “the absence of open border conflicts.”
However, according to Scholz, “good practical support for Ukraine” from NATO is important, which will continue in the future.
Remember, the head of the British Armed Forces, Admiral Tony Radakin, said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine gained more positions in weeks than the Russian Federation in a year.
As reported, on Tuesday, the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced an advance of up to 2 km in the direction of Berdyansk.
