A Tajik national who committed a double murder died in hospital days after his arrest.

A citizen of Tajikistan died in Moldova, which shot two people at Chisinau airport. This was announced on Monday, July 3, by the press service of the Moldovan Police.

“The suspect in the double murder at the international airport in Chisinau died 15 minutes ago,” the report said.

According to media reports, the shooter was a member of a criminal group and tried to hide from the investigation. Law enforcement agencies determined that the man fled from Tajikistan to Moldova via Turkey. He will hide in the countries of the European Union.

It will be remembered that on June 30, at the airport in Chisinau, a man opened fire and took a hostage. Two people died.

Special Forces stopped the shooter. It turned out to be a 43-year-old citizen of Tajikistan who was denied entry into Moldova.
