The Foreign Ministry is confident that the leadership of the Russian Federation received signals from a number of countries after Ukrainian intelligence publicized Russian plans to blow up a nuclear power plant.
Russia has received a warning from several countries, including non-allies of Ukraine, about not accepting its plans to blow up the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. This was announced on Monday, July 3, by Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba on the air of the telethon.
“I think we received it not only from our traditional friends and partners, but also from other countries that consider any use of a nuclear element in a conflict unacceptable,” said the minister.
According to him, the most important thing is that Ukraine publicized the plan of the Russians.
“That is, now it will be more difficult for them to implement it. I think they are already writing it, developing some new plans,” said Kuleba, adding that Ukrainian intelligence will also receive it.
It will be recalled that on June 22, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Russia was preparing to carry out a terrorist attack on the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, which could lead to the release of radiation.
On Monday, the high command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the leadership of Energoatom held a meeting and conducted issues of information exchange between the military and power engineers to plan possible scenarios for the development of events at Zaporozhye NPP.
