The Danish Foreign Ministry states that special attention is paid to the port city of Nikolaev and the Nikolaev region.
Denmark has announced that it will allocate 615 million crowns ($90 million) to the reconstruction of Ukraine. These funds will go “to restore schools, hospitals and clinics, bomb shelters, water, heat and energy, as well as to support the population” in areas affected by the conflict. This was stated in the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the kingdom, published on Monday, July 3.
The Danish department said that special attention is paid to the port city of Nikolaev and the Nikolaev region.
“The purpose of the package is to meet the urgent needs of Ukrainians who remained in the country during the war, and at the same time create opportunities for many displaced people to return to their homes,” said of the ministry.
The package also includes “funds for the launch of the Ukrainian economy” and for the reconstruction of agriculture, energy and information technology.

Recall that in May, Denmark increased funding for the Ukraine Support Fund by $2.6 billion.
In June, it became known that Denmark will allocate another $3.21 billion in aid to Ukraine in the period 2023-2028.
