In the Berdyansk direction, anti-tankers of the 36th brigade from the Javelin anti-tank missile system burned an expensive Russian Ka-52 attack helicopter, known as the Alligator. On July 3, the 36th Separate Marine Brigade named after Rear Admiral Mikhail Bilinsky announced this on Facebook.
It is noted that this is the 309th helicopter on the account of the Ukrainian defense forces since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion.
As you know, Russian propaganda constantly praises the Ka-52 as the “latest” equipment, but during the Russian-Ukrainian war it became known that this helicopter had a lot of shortcomings, since there were many such machines shot down. The destruction of the “Alligators” was a good slap in the face of the fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine throughout the Russian military-industrial complex.
Recall that the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that on July 2, the Ukrainian military also destroyed a Russian helicopter. The defenders also turned five tanks, 11 armored fighting vehicles, 31 artillery systems into scrap metal. In addition, 600 occupiers have “overdvuhsotili”.
