In Primorsko-Akhtarsk in the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation, an explosion occurred near a military airport, in the area where a crater was formed, Meduza reported citing a number of Russian media channels and Telegram.
Portal 93.ru writes that around 16:00, residents of Primorsko-Akhtarsk reported a loud explosion, after which a column of black smoke rose into the sky. According to the portal, the explosion occurred near a military airport.
Telegram channel Baza published a photo of the crater that was formed, allegedly as a result of the explosion. According to Baza, the sinkhole is about 10 meters in diameter and about four meters deep.
The Mash telegram channel says that a missile was fired at the Primorsko-Akhtar air defense system, allegedly trying to attack a fuel depot on the territory of a military airfield. Other sources have not yet confirmed this.

“There were no victims or injuries. According to preliminary information, residential buildings and infrastructure facilities were not damaged. The causes of the incident are being investigated,” he wrote, without specifying what exactly happened.
Earlier, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the launch of Iranian Shaheds from the Primorsko-Akhtarsk airport in the Russian Federation.
