There were no shelters for the civilian population during the explosion at the nuclear power plant in Energodar.
A part of ZNPP collaborators and Rosatom personnel left the temporarily occupied Energodar. On Sunday, July 2, Suspіlne reports related to the mayor of Energodar Dmitry Orlov.
“Part of the Rosatom personnel brought from the Russian nuclear power plants – up to 100 specialists – left the city at the end of last week,” said Dmitry Orlov.
He noted that about 5-6 thousand workers remain at the nuclear power plant, who are not allowed to leave the city.
Speaking about the possible threat of an explosion at the ZNPP, he pointed out that there are no shelters for the civilian population in the city.
“The shelter is available only in industrial areas in a nuclear, thermal power plant, factories located nearby. The city project itself does not provide shelters in the basements, so the situation is difficult in terms of it. But now it cannot be changed because of the hostilities . Moreover, that the city remains under occupation, “said Dmitry Orlov.
