Ukrainian troops continue to advance in the direction of Bakhmut. As soon as possible, the data on the liberated territories will be made public. This is what the speaker of the Eastern Group of Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Serhiy Cherevaty said on the air of the telethon on Sunday, July 2.
“We have an advance in the direction of Bakhmut. There is combat work on the flanks, there is pressure on the enemy. After detailed analysis and verification, we will provide detailed data on the territory that we were able to liberate,” he said.
Cherevaty noted that after a long defense of the city, the Ukrainians got the initiative in this direction.
“If the enemy attacked us for 10 months, now we are pressuring the enemy. Step by step, without emergency actions that could lead to loss of personnel, we are moving forward,” he said.
According to him, 23 clashes took place in the direction of Bakhmut in the past day. 116 invaders were liquidated, another 119 were wounded. Dozens of enemy vehicles were destroyed.
Remember that almost 230,000 Russian invaders died during the war. In just one day on July 1, another 790 “good” Russians were added.
