On the anniversary of the liberation of the Serpent Island, President Volodymyr Zelensky commemorated the Ukrainian soldiers who repelled the Ukrainian land in the occupying Russian army and named the Heroes who fell during the military operation.

Serpentine was needed by Russian terrorists to destroy the southern regions.
Our warriors stopped them, drove them out of Serpentine. I am grateful to everyone who fired Serpentine. The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, together with other components of the defense and security forces of our state, carried out this operation. GUR and special unit “Alpha” of the SBU, Naval forces and army aviation Command of the Ground Forces, aviation of the Air Force and our strong border guards. Thank you!” Zelensky said.
The President named the names of the Ukrainian soldiers who died during the operation to liberate Zmeiny, including the fighters of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry:
