Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez arrived in Ukraine on Saturday, July 1. He will meet with President Volodymyr Zelensky. About that reported on Sanchez’s Twitter.
He posted a video from the train station in Kyiv, where he was met by a delegation.
The purpose of Sanchez’s visit is to confirm Ukraine’s support from Spain and the European Union.
“I send all European solidarity to your government and parliament. We will support the Ukrainian people until peace is restored in Europe,” the Spanish prime minister said.
Recall that Spain during the presidency of the Council of the EU focused on supporting Ukraine.
As reported, Spain is sending 20 armored personnel carriers and repairing Leopard 2 to Ukraine.
