Ukraine will receive new military assistance from Denmark.

On June 30, the Danish government announced the allocation of a new package of military assistance for the needs of the Ukrainian defense forces in the amount of about $190 million. This will include missiles for air defense and funds for the purchase of 155-mm artillery ammunition. 44 million dollars are provided for the purchase of these shells. This was reported by the press service of the Danish government.
It is absolutely essential that we continue to support Ukraine. This is a large and important donation, which we, among other things, made on the basis of the wishes and needs of Ukraine. We must support the defense struggle of Ukraine against the invasion of Russian troops, – said the acting. O. Danish Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen.
And the Danish Foreign Ministry added that Ukraine’s need for support remains great. They stressed that the kingdom, under the auspices of the EU, jointly purchases artillery ammunition and donates them to Ukraine.
President Volodymyr Zelensky thanked Ukraine for its support. He noted that the Ukrainian army is now in dire need of air defense missiles, ammunition, artillery shells and demining equipment on the battlefield.
Recall, on June 27, the United States announced a new package of military assistance to Ukraine in the amount of up to $500 million. The Armed Forces of Ukraine will receive additional missiles for anti-aircraft missile systems, Patriot and HIMARS rocket artillery systems, as well as artillery shells, HARMs high-speed anti-radar missiles, precision-guided aviation ammunition, and armored vehicles.
