There are still many cells of debris, debris and any accumulation of other objects that can drift by the sea, sometimes they can be brought to the coast. Among these things can be very dangerous, in particular, deliberately mined items. Therefore, the danger remains very high, – Natalya Gumenyuk, head of the joint press center of OK Yug, said on the air of the telethon.
She noted that for several days there was stormy weather, so it is likely that now anything can bring to the shore. She also stressed that the coast remains a defense zone, a danger zone, and not a recreation area.
Back in early June, the head of the joint press center of the Defense Forces of southern Ukraine confirmed the report that fragments of houses washed away as a result of the explosion of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station by the Russians were drifting from the Kherson region to the coast of Odessa.
In addition, she warned of the danger of mines appearing in the Black Sea, carried there by water flows from flooded areas.
These mines can collide with sea mines that litter the territorial waters of Ukraine. This will be an additional danger, a threat, – Gumenyuk said at a media briefing.
