Russian aggressors opened fire on a school in the Pokrovsky district of the Donetsk region. As a result of the attack, two people were killed and six others were injured, the regional prosecutor’s office said on Friday, June 30.
It was noted that at about 11:20 the Russians hit, probably from multiple rocket launch systems, the village of Sergeevka and hit the territory of the local school. “As a result of the shooting, a 56-year-old elementary school teacher and a 44-year-old chief accountant were killed. Six other employees, including four men aged 54 to 69 years and two women aged 24 and 34, were All taken to hospital with “explosive” mine injuries and shrapnel wounds,” the report said.
As a result of the impact, part of the school building was almost destroyed – classrooms, classrooms and other areas were damaged, school furniture and equipment were damaged.
A pre-trial investigation is launched in criminal proceedings on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war (part 2 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Police and rescuers continue to work at the scene.
