On the Black Sea coast of Sukhumi in Abkhazia, waves washed the carcasses of dead pigs onto a crowded beach. The relevant footage appeared on social networks.
The video shows the dead bodies of domestic animals, as well as many remains being washed ashore by a fast-moving stream.
According to eyewitnesses, tourists have noticed two pig carcasses.
“Because of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station blown up by the Russians, dead livestock are washed ashore in Sukhum … A disaster awaits on the Black Sea coast,” wrote one of the local public.
Abkhazia and, in particular, the city of Sukhumi is located on the coast of the Black Sea. In 2008, Russia occupied this region of Georgia.
