It is necessary to evacuate residents of areas that suffer daily from the shelling of the Russian army. Local authorities know the algorithms and ways of evacuation measures. Civilians need to save their lives, and the Armed Forces of Ukraine will continue to defend the Ukrainian land. The commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant-General Serhiy Naev, announced this on June 29 in Telegram.
According to the general, the Sumy direction remains the most dangerous in the Northern Operational Zone. Every day, the Russian invaders shell the border areas with artillery, mortars, multiple rocket launchers.
Recall that back in the spring, the Ukrainian military, together with the civil-military administrations, are trying to evacuate the entire population from the border regions of the Chernihiv and Sumy regions. But most civilians were evacuated from those settlements that are close to the border with the Russian Federation and Belarus. In these villages, mostly old people remained who want to stay in their homes, at the graves of their parents and ancestors.
