Russian military commissar-propagandist Romanov claims that the alleged former commander of the Russian invasion forces in Ukraine, the commander of the Russian Aerospace Forces, General Surovikin, has been in jail since June 25, the first day after the end of the rebellion by Yevgeny Prigozhin and the Wagner PPK.

But there is no proof of this information.
Until recently, Surovikin was considered a likely ally of Prigogine. According to the Russian Dossier project, he has allegedly been an honorary member of the Wagner PIK since 2017 with a badge numbered M-3744.
On the first day of the Wagner coup, Surovikin wrote down an appeal to the mercenaries with a proposal to stop the campaign against Moscow.
The Wall Street Journal, citing Western officials, reported that during his coup, Prigozhin intended to capture Shoigu and Gerasimova. The FSB found out about this plan two days before.
The commander of the National Guard of the Russian Federation, Zolotov, claims that information was leaked from the Prigozhin camp, which is why he was forced to start the operation earlier.
According to Western officials, Prigozhin announced his intentions to some in the top military leadership of the Russian Federation, including Surovikin.
