Danilov said that the people who directly organized and participated in Prigozhin’s rebellion were in the Kremlin.
There are several reasons for the fact that Yevgeny Prigozhin and his mercenaries did not reach Moscow and stopped only 200 km from it. After all, he did not act independently, but his campaign was organized by “people from the Kremlin.” This was announced on Tuesday, June 27, by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov on the telethon air.
“Remember that Russia has nuclear weapons, it always uses this argument as a method of blackmail. We still do not know what negotiations took place and who gave the instructions. I can say that this was not Prigozhin’s decision, stop you, say yes, this trip to Moscow. This is the decision of completely different people they consulted. I think we will find out and understand how everything happens,” he said.
Danilov emphasized that the people directly involved in Prigozhin’s rebellion are now in the Kremlin. He drew attention to the fact that Putin is now being watched even at Security Council meetings, and the number of his guards has increased dramatically.
He added that earlier Putin considered himself “the Russian tsar”, but Prigozhin “removed the crown.”
“So now everyone saw that there is no king in Russia today, but there is an “uncle” who believes that he is the helm of Russia,” said Danilov.
The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council added that Prigozhin is currently not busy building camps for his mercenaries on the territory of Belarus. And the information about their organization on the side of Lvkashenko is another lie of the Russian Federation.
“Lukashenko is an experienced politician. He has been in power since 1994 and in a short time he will have 30 years of leadership in Belarus. IPSO, which should influence our country, Poland, Lithuania, which borders Belarus. I don’t think Lukashenko, like Putin, will allow to create a separate army on his territory, which is not under his control. This is too cunning a person to solve it,” said Danilov.
Recall that Lukashenka previously told how he convinced Putin “not to wet” Prigozhin.
On June 23, PMC head Wagner announced a demarche against the Russian military leadership, including against Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu. On June 24, Prigogine sent columns of “Wagnerites” to Moscow.
Lukashenka spoke to Prigozhin, after which he announced that the group’s fighters had returned to the field camps. On June 27, Lukashenka confirmed Prigozhin’s arrival in Belarus.
