Ukrtelecom donated to the Armed Forces of Ukraine 500 special tablets designed for orientation, analysis and planning, which will help soldiers to carry out combat missions. This was reported by the company’s press service on Tuesday, June 27.
“In total, the fighters will receive 2.43 thousand of these devices. Ukrtelecom purchased and provided the equipment on behalf of the military initiative Steel Front, founded by businessman Rinat Akhmetov,” the report said.
In total, 20 brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will receive such tablets.
“Now, with great respect and gratitude, we give these special means to our defenders, and let them help the soldiers protect their own lives and destroy the enemy who entered our homeland,” commented of Ukrtelecom CEO Yuriy Kurmaz on the transfer of aid.
The company’s press service clarified that so far Ukrtelecom has donated material aid worth UAH 50 million to the needs of the Ukrainian defense forces.
