The State Bank has decided not to continue the “credit holidays” valid from March 1 to June 1, 2022.
At the same time, PrivatBank is restoring an active card lending regime and extending preferred terms. This was reported by the bank’s press service to the Telegram.
“Customers will be able to open a new credit card or increase the credit limit on existing cards, while they will be subject to half the interest rate,” the statement said.
Preferred terms of service at the rate of 1.7% per month will be valid until the end of August, if the client will make a mandatory monthly payment in the amount of 5% of the loan on time. Otherwise, interest will accrue at standard rates of 3.4% (for Universal Gold cards) and 3.5% (for Universal cards).
Special conditions of service after the credit holiday on June 1, 2022 will also apply to military personnel and persons affected by Russia’s military aggression.
Recall that from March 1 to the end of May, PrivatBank had credit holidays and reduced interest rates on credit cards, while the bank did not limit the use of existing credit limits.
Remember. Recently, technical failures often occur in the work of PrivatBank. So, on May 12, the Privat24 mobile application and Internet banking stopped working. Clients cannot log in. Also on the night of April 18, the next phase of regular maintenance was conducted at Privat24. Part of the services are undergoing maintenance, so the application and the web version are not available.
