“The priority of the Recovery Agency is the establishment of these bridges in Kharkiv, Mykolaiv and Kherson regions. In the frontline regions, people’s livelihoods mainly depend on roads. The destruction of bridges leads to cutting off communities from basic services,” the official explained.
According to him, the bridges, built by Acrow Corporation, can withstand the movement of both cars and trucks.
The structures were donated as part of the Restoration Agency and CDF Modular Bridge project supported by a grant from The Howard G. Buffett Foundation.
The Fund financed the supply of nine modular bridges in Ukraine.
It will be remembered that the invaders announced their “arrival” over the bridge at Chongar. According to their version, Storm Shadow missiles were allegedly used for the attack.
