This was announced today, June 25, by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
An unexploded bomb fell in the middle of a residential area of the village. The rescuers who arrived at the scene determined that the FAB-500 had minor damage.
In order to preserve the residential area and protect nearby infrastructure facilities from damage, a fuse was unscrewed from the bomb, which was destroyed directly on the spot. The main charge was seized and transported to a special site, where it was destroyed.
Rescuers urge civilians:
If you come across any object that looks like an explosive, even if you know what kind of object it is and have encountered it several times, please do not test your chances, but call 101 and inform the relevant authorities, professionals will come and do their case.
