Representatives of the Belarusian opposition said that Vladimir Putin did not just send Alexander Lukashenko to negotiate with the head of Wagner PMC. Thus, the Kremlin leader sought to avoid responsibility for the agreements and promises made to Prigogine. This was announced on Saturday, June 24, on the air of the FREEDOM TV channel by the press secretary of Svetlana Tikhanovskaya Anna Krasulina.
He noted that the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation did not really intend to fight with Prigozhin, because he had combat experience and many supporters, both in the military and the population of the Russian Federation.
“Putin, with Prigogine standing 200 km from Moscow, armed to the teeth, is ready to promise him everything. Just everything. Of course, in such cases it is more convenient to promise not himself, but through of the mouth of Alexander Grigorievich. Why? then it is possible to blame everything on him: I did not promise, this is a question for Lukashenka. Secondly, Lukashenka will really try to promise more, which Putin guarantees, ” said Krasulina.
He added that Lukashenko probably lied when he “distributed promises.”
“Everything Lukashenka is saying, it should not be divided by eight, it is better to change the sign,” she summed up.
Lukashenka said Putin thanked him for the successful negotiations with leader Wagner.
