The Russian military lost six helicopters and an Il-18(22) passenger aircraft during the day of the Wagner riot, Russian media reported.
In particular, the Wagnerites shot down three Mi-8 MTPR (electronic warfare) helicopters, one Mi-8, one Ka-52, one Mi-35 and one Il-18(22) passenger plane (air command post).
Russian military reporters also reported that dozens of crew members of downed helicopters and aircraft were killed.
Recall that Yevgeny Prigozhin was “blown away” and deployed Wagner PVK columns from near Moscow. He said he would lead them to the rear camps.
