Financial and accounting documentation, border control evidence, information carriers, business correspondence and more than 1,000 tons of grain were confiscated.
In Poland, as part of the case on the import of Ukrainian grain into the country, tax officials conducted searches in 222 companies and customs offices, RMF24 reported.
“222 searches were conducted at the headquarters of grain importers and customs offices across the country,” said Anna Bernat-Lozhanska, spokeswoman for the Rzeszow Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
According to him, financial and accounting documentation, evidence of border control, information carriers, business correspondence and more than 1,000 tons of grain, which probably do not correspond to those declared in the customs declaration, were seized.
Details of the raids were not released.
Recall that earlier the European Union extended restrictions on grain imports from Ukraine until September.
