The Russian border guards allegedly did not fight back, and even “embraced his fighters.” At the same time, Prigogine threatened to “destroy everything” that stood in his way.
On the evening of Saturday, June 24, the head of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, published a new voice message in which he said that his fighters crossed the state border of the Russian Federation “in all places” and now enters Rostov.
“So far, we have crossed the state border everywhere. The border guards came out to meet and embrace our fighters. Now we are entering Rostov,” Prigozhin said.
He also added that the conscripts were thrown against the “Wagnerites”, who sided.
“We go further. If anyone gets in the way, we will destroy everyone. We go to the end,” Prigozhin stressed.
The PMC chief also assures that the border guards will “be embraced with his fighters.” However, there are no pictures or videos of hugs.
In addition, Prigozhin said that Valery Gerasimov, the General Staff of the Russian Revolutionary Federation, gave the order to fire from aircraft on the Wagner columns mixed with civilian vehicles. However, the pilots refused to obey the order.
Recall that on Friday night, Prigozhin’s statements appeared on Telegram channels accusing the Russian Defense Ministry of a missile attack on the Wagner PMC camps. After this, Prigozhin announced that he would withdraw his forces from the front and led them to confront the leadership of the Russian Defense Ministry.
After that, security forces in the Russian Federation were reportedly alerted, and roadblocks were placed on the highway.
