Russian military correspondents fell under EU sanctions

    The European Union, within the framework of the 11th package of sanctions, introduced them, including against Russian “military correspondents”.

    The sanctions list includes:

    • Semyon Pegov;
    • Alexander Sladkov;
    • Andrey Medvedev;
    • Evgeny Poddubny;
    • the creator of the Telegram channel “Rybar” Mikhail Zvinchuk;
    • a number of journalists from the Russian state holding VGTRK, Channel One, the Zvezda TV channel and a number of Russian media.

    Also under sanctions now:

    • “Wagner Center”;
    • Positive Technologies cybersecurity group of companies licensed by the FSB to develop cryptographic protection tools;
    • Russian military factory Sverdlov;
    • TV channel “Star”.

    In total, 71 individuals and 33 legal entities fell under EU sanctions.
