Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg have agreed to fight each other in a traditional mixed martial arts cage.

It seems strange, but Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg seem to have agreed to fight according to the rules of mixed martial arts. Musk tweeted that he was “ready for a cage fight” with Zuckerberg. Here, Zuckerberg, the head of Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, posted a screenshot of Musk’s tweet with the comment: “let us know where to meet.”

Battle of the billionaires

To Zuckerberg’s question, Musk replied: “Octagon (octagon) in Vegas.” The octagon is simply the name of a specially fenced arena where fights organized by the UFC organization take place. He is located in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Elon Musk, who will be 52 later this month, also tweeted: “I have a great move in reserve that I call the walrus: I just lie on top of my opponent and do nothing.”

He also tweeted: “I rarely exercise, except sometimes to pick up my kids and throw them in the air.”

Zuckerberg, 39, is a mixed martial artist for a long time and has even won jiu-jitsu tournaments.

The messaging between Musk and Zuckerberg immediately went viral, with many social media users debating which of them could win the battle, others posting memes, including simulated posters that promoting the fight.

Hnew level of competition

Meta announced plans in June to create a text-based social network to compete with Twitter.

The idea is that Meta-owned Instagram users can instantly become followers of both accounts on the new text-based social network.

This could potentially allow the company to attract subscribers from decentralized platforms like Mastodon.

A Meta spokesperson confirmed that the platform is in development. In theory, this could make Musk’s Twitter more serious competition than BlueSky or Mastodon.
