Ukrzaliznytsia reported that suburban trains in the region are returning to their normal schedule.
Railroad workers continued to run trains along the stretch near Nikopol, where there had previously been an embankment under the railroad tracks after the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station was blown up by the Russians. This was reported by Ukrzaliznytsia on its Telegram channel on Wednesday, June 21.
The report said the work was completed in the shortest possible time, so commuter trains in the region are returning to their regular schedule.
The US added that to repair the damage:
-
almost 6.6 thousand cubic meters of rubble stone and more than 3.5 thousand cubic meters of crushed stone were used;
-
mounted 150 g of a new reykopal lattice;
-
replaced the resistance of the contact network.
Ukrzaliznytsia posted a photo of the repaired track
It will be recalled that on June 10 it was reported that the section with the railroad had sunk near Nikopol.
