The reaction of the Ukrainians was not long in coming: the inscriptions “Useless” (“Unnecessary”) appeared on UN vehicles in Kyiv.
The artist, who stuck the inscription “Unnecessary” on UN vehicles after the occupiers blew up the dam of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station, was summoned to court. Toronto Television reported that on June 7, when the action took place, police officers filed a protocol against Iosif Husak under Art. 173-1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (spreading false rumors).
On Tuesday, June 20, the artist received a subpoena to the Podolsky District Court in a case under Art. 173, i.e. “petty hooliganism”. Currently, Joseph’s lawyer finds out who is the plaintiff in the case and what offense he is actually accused of.
UN vehicles got in Kyiv and Odessa. On the cars of the organization, the townspeople made the inscriptions useless – “useless”. Useless (in vain, insignificant, meaningless) – this is how the inscription on the UN cars parked in Kyiv was upgraded.
The photos were published on Twitter by a user with the nickname Yos.
Yesterday in Ukraine, Russia caused the greatest man-made disaster in decades. Thousands of people were left homeless, all needed help. Now the next day, several UN and WHO SUVs are still parked in one of the Kyiv parking lots. No vandalism, just an expression of position, – the author of the message emphasized.
Recall that against the backdrop of the Russians undermining the dam of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station, the United Nations, whose goal is to maintain and strengthen peace, celebrated the day of the Russian language.
