The head of the British government called on the world to act as a united front against Putin’s aggression.
Great Britain is “side by side with its Ukrainian friends” and supports Ukraine in the fight against the Russian Federation. This was stated by British Prime Minister Boris Johnson at the second Save Ukraine international charity telethon, which was simultaneously held in the capitals of Kyiv and Berlin.
In his speech, Johnson called for “continued support for the brave Ukrainian people.”
“Ukrainians demand only one thing: to live in peace and freedom in their land. It is the right of every country. But those who believe in it must act as a united front against Putin’s aggression. Let us stand side by side with our people. “At the very beginning of this war, we have been providing all the necessary equipment to repel attacks both at sea and on land,” the British Prime Minister stressed.
He said he was confident that Ukraine would stand up to the fight against Russian aggression, and that Britain would help the Ukrainians here.
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held regular talks with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
