Ukrainian authorities have repeatedly reported that Russian occupiers are taking Ukrainian children out of the country.
Russian occupiers intend to take 750 minors from the occupied part of Lugansk region in the near future. This was announced on Tuesday, June 20, by the head of the military administration of the Lugansk region, Artem Lysogor, on his Telegram channel.
He noted that this month the Russians have taken 150 children out of the region. They were taken from the Starobelsky district.
“They are said to have been taken to Russia for recuperation. But the administration has no information about their return,” Lysogor said.
The leader of the OVA pointed out that the occupiers, in order to have an excuse for releasing the children, declared them sick.
“In 70% of students in the occupied territory of the Lugansk region, doctors from the Russian Federation found “pathologies” to send them to Russia for treatment. In case of refusal, the occupiers are afraid to not be allowed to study,” Lysohor wrote.
It was previously reported that Russia is changing the names and dates of birth of illegally deported Ukrainian children.
