The new machinery and equipment is equipped with five mobile response teams of the border service. This will allow them to identify the enemy more quickly.
Five mobile response and monitoring groups of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine received 5 pickup trucks, 15 thermal imagers and 5 modern night vision devices for immediate detection and destruction of the enemy. The machinery and equipment was donated by Metinvest as part of Rinat Akhmetov’s Steel Front military initiative.
“A mobile group is a group of 4-5 people in a car with several weapons. Now each car of the group will have a night vision device for the driver and thermal imaging optics for timely detection of the enemy,” said of Border Guard Colonel Alexander Sebalo.
According to Alexander Vodoviz, head of the project office of the general director of the Metinvest group, the transferred optics are of German manufacture.
“We have again donated a batch of cars, mobile night vision devices and high-resolution thermal imagers. These are German devices that are very hard to find, and we are glad to have delivered them,” he said.
Recall that in the first ten days of June it was reported that the doctors of the Armed Forces of Ukraine received 30 ambulances as part of the military initiative Steel Front.
