The head of the GUR, Kirill Budanov, denied Russian media reports about his death or injury and promised to appear in Russians’ dreams.

Now a special detachment of immortal commanders is being created in Ukraine – Valery Zaluzhny, Stepan Bandera, Symon Petlyura, Ivan Mazepa. A detachment of immortals at night will come to dreams of Russian inhabitants who sought to seize Ukraine, and nightmare them, Budanov told the Kyiv Post.
Thus, the head of Ukrainian military intelligence responded to the message that he was dead, and the video with his image was created by artificial intelligence.
Reports that Major General Kirill Budanov had died or been seriously injured circulated on social media for weeks after the May 29 Russian missile attack on Kyiv.
Russian state media quickly picked up on the conspiracy theory, falsely claiming that Ukrainian media were reporting Budanov’s death.
And last week, the Kremlin’s chief propagandist, Vladimir Solovyov, falsely claimed to be in a coma in Germany. The collusion theory has since been amplified by the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Valeriy Zaluzhny, who is now falsely reported to have been killed or wounded. Groundless rumors fueled and degenerate way last weekend.

Even a video of Budanov posted on June 11, showing him silently staring into the camera to emphasize that people should remain silent about Ukraine’s summer offensive, was not enough to convince conspiracy theorists that he was alive, with many claiming that his static the pose was filmed because it was supposedly easier to fake using artificial intelligence technology.
In an exclusive commentary to the Kyiv Post, Budanov added that “the Russians and their propagandists will have to work hard in a nervous, hysterical environment.”
A detachment of immortals will come at night to the dreams of Russian citizens who wanted to seize Ukraine and inspire them with nightmares,” said the intelligence general.
Rospropaganda, following Zaluzhny, also buries Budanov
