During air attacks, the enemy uses them more compactly. This may mean that the Russians are waiting for the renewal of the supply of “Shaheds”, which means they will intensify shelling with the help of UAVs in the coming days. The head of the Joint Coordinating Press Center of the Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine, Natalya Gumenyuk, stated this on the air of the telethon.
At this stage, we can state that there are fewer of them, and their use by groups is more compact, four, five, seven units,” she noted.
According to Gumenyuk, enhanced attacks may return again after the enemy receives new batches of UAVs. Such attacks can occur within a few days. Invaders launch strike drones from the eastern coast of the Sea of Azov.
Recall that on the night of June 19, the Russians attacked the Odessa region with Caliber sea-based cruise missiles, and the Dnipropetrovsk region with Shahed attack drones. All eight air targets were destroyed by air defense systems.
