Biden commented on the movement of Russian nuclear weapons

The American leader accused Putin of irresponsibility due to the provision of nuclear missile systems to Belarus.

US President Joe Biden on Saturday, June 17, said that Russia is “absolutely irresponsible” regarding the movement of nuclear weapons, especially, in Belarus, Sky News reports.

“I’ve said it many times — it’s completely irresponsible,” Biden said.

In March, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced an agreement with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko on the deployment of nuclear weapons in Belarus. The Iskander missile system, which can be a carrier of tactical nuclear weapons, was reportedly handed over to Minsk. Some Belarusian aircraft have also been converted to use nuclear weapons.

Meanwhile, the US State Department said it sees no signs that Russia is preparing to use nuclear weapons against Ukraine.
