In the Kherson region, on the morning of June 17, 28 settlements remained flooded, the water was at a level of 1.09 m. This was reported by the State Emergency Service.

In the Dnieper River in alignment with the Kherson post, a gradual decrease in the water level is observed.

11 settlements (1,509 houses) on the right bank of the Dnieper and 17 settlements in the temporarily occupied territory remain flooded.

In total, 2782 people were evacuated from the region.

In the Nikolaev region, 35 buildings remain flooded, as well as gardens, wells, basements in the territories of private households in the Bashtansky district.

Recall that the Cabinet of Ministers approved the decision to pay benefits to victims of flooding in Kherson and Nikolaev regions.
