Stephen Colbert examines many of the obnoxious ideas being pushed by Republicans rather than rational gun control. But the strange thing is the former football star, the politician Herschel Walker.
Walker, Georgia’s Republican Senate candidate backed by former President Donald Trump, offered “A section where young men can watch women watch their social media – what would you say?”
“Yes, what do you think?” Colbert said Thursday night. “It’s time to create a federal office that finds young men watching women watching social media.”
Colbert’s “Late Show” team even created a logo for the new federal agency:
In Georgia, a Senate candidate expressed nonsense when asked to address gun violence, saying, “What can be said about finding a department that can watch young men watch women watch social media. ” ემ Prepare: pic.twitter.com/y5dAIgItYw

Walker’s comments also surprised Jimmy Kimmel on Thursday.
“Did he play without a helmet?” Kimmel asked. “It was a beautiful mental journey he took with us”.
