During the war, the coronavirus did not disappear in Ukraine, almost 4-5 thousand cases were recorded daily. The head of the Ministry of Health Viktor Lyashko spoke about the situation in the incident in an interview with RBC-Ukraine, published on Thursday, March 31.
“The coronavirus, unfortunately, has not disappeared. On weekdays, we have an average of 4,500 cases. So far, 4,038 patients with covid have been hospitalized in health care facilities (March 27). This is data from hospitals where it is possible to get statistics. “Because where there are battles, it is difficult. Vaccination is also ongoing, with the third dose,” said the minister.
He recalled that Ukraine canceled the zoning of the territory according to the level of epidemic risk and mandatory vaccination.
“Moreover, we still have a decrease in coronavirus, there is a large number of vaccinated. So now, we have made anti-epidemic rules that are recommended, not mandatory … Key questions: if there is a choice, find and put to mask first, or rush to a bomb shelter – of course, we prefer saving lives from enemy shelling and bombs, ”Lyashko added.
Meanwhile, the number of coronavirus cases in the world has exceeded 487 million.
